A dental emergency is defined as the following cases:
Dental hemorrhage, see behavior for dental emergency
Allergy to a drug, see behavior for dental emergency
(1) for an accident supported under contract by third-party payers , the patient will indicate the name of the respondent and its insurance number.
(2) the use of a dental laboratory is not possible either on Saturday or Sunday or public holidays
Each practitioner is responsible for its own emergencies during normal opening hours of the office.
The AMDG provides childcare for emergencies which is open to all patients 365 days a year from 09:00 to 12:00 and 16:00 to 18:00. ( lien MD )
After anamnesis the dentist on duty may request information about the approximate amount of emergency care.
After his treatment, he issues a detailed note of fees , possibly postponed. A brief report to the treating dentist is also provided with any radiographs.
The fees are set at the end of consultation by cash or credit card.
The SSO rate provides a surcharge of about frs 65. – or a night consultation and a Frs 45. – for medical consultation during holidays and Sundays.
Control or scaling are not emergencies.
The definitive treatment is usually pursued by the treating dentist .
